A new gas pipeline will be laid between Turkey and Azerbaijan. The energy ministers of the two countries signed a memorandum of understanding on the supply of natural fuel to Nakhichevan.
Turkish Energy Minister Fatih Dönmez stated that the Turkey-Nakhichevan gas pipeline will be a continuation of the Ygdir gas pipeline and will fully satisfy the need of the Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan for natural gas.
"The Turkey-Nakhichevan gas pipeline will be built as a continuation of the gas pipeline leading to the city of Igdir, which is the exit point of the distribution branch of the TANAP gas pipeline.
